Little Britain
Greenwich Avenue, between 12th and 13th Streets in the West Village of Manhattan, is unofficially called “Little Britain.” The teashopTea & Sympathy, at 108 Greenwich Avenue, is one of several British-themed businesses in the area. Tea & Sympathy’s Nicky Perry proposed “Little Britain Boulevard” in 2007, but the community board voted against the proposal.
Despite a lack of formal recognition from New York City government, the area is informally known as “Little Britain.”
